On arrival, meet, assist & transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 02: CHENNAI - MAHABALIPURAM Morning at leisure in Chennai. Mahabalipuram is now a famous beach resort but once it had trade & cultural relations with Rome & South East Asia. The 7th century town is famous for its rock hewn temples, sculptures & the worlds largest stone bas relief.Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 03: MAHABALIPURAM - PONDICHERRY Morning departure for Pondicherry. After arrival check in at the Hotel. It is the city of many battles fought between Britishers & French and was capital of French India before it attained independence in 1954. Afternoon visit Sir Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 04: PONDICHERRY - CHIDAMBARAM - TANJORE - TRICHY Morning leave for Chidambaram. Proceed to Tanjore which is referred to as cultural capital of the region. Here visit Brihadeeshwara temple built in 10th century. Therafter leave for Trichy. On arrival check in at Hotel for overnight stay. Day 05: IN TRICHY Morning city tour of Trichy. Visit Rock Fort which is the Landmark of the city. Therafter tour of Srirangam Island. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 06: TRICHY - MADURAI Morning drive to Madurai. On arrival check in at Hotel.
