Kerala Beach Tour
Duration : 07 Nights / 08 Days Destinations : Trivandrum - Kovalam - Kollam - Alleppey - Periyar - Cochin DAY 01 : Arrival Trivandrum On arrival at Trivandrum, meet, assist and transfer to Kovalam Beach (14kms), Relax and enjoy on the beach for rest of the day. Overnight at hotel. DAY 02 : In Kovalam On your second day of stay at the Kovalam beach resort or hotel you can try a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage (at your own cost) which would surely make your Kerala Beach vacation an enchanting and momentous experience. Overnight at hotel. DAY 03 : Kovalam - Kollam After breakfast, depart for Kollam by road. Kollam is regarded as 'the gateway of Kerala backwaters'. Here you stay in a picturesque backwater resort, situated on the bank of Ashtamudi Lake, known for its scenic look and beauty. Afternoon sight-seeing in Kollam. Overnight at hotel. DAY 04 : Kolam - Alleppey (Houseboat) After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. The picturesque small town of Alleppey with its exotic charm and awesome and serene surroundings never fails to enchant your mind and soul. Arrive embarkment point to board a houseboat and cruising through beautiful villages & lush paddy fields reach to Kumarakom. Overnight stay at the exotic Houseboat. DAY 05 : Disembark from houseboat and drive to Periyar From Kumarakom we drive for about 4 hrs to reach up into the hills surrounding Periyar, one of the most fascinating and famous wildlife sanctuaries and tiger reserves in India. Here you can spot a tiger in its own natural habitat. The sight of the herds of elephants playing, bathing and babies running behind their mothers never fails to enchant you. Overnight at hotel. DAY 06 : In Periyar Early morning, boat cruise in the beautiful lake to view wild animals play and bath on the shores. Afternoon visit to the spice & tea plantations provides you a lifetime tour experience. Overnight at hotel. DAY 07 : Periyar - Cochin After breakfast, depart for Cochin by road - the commercial capital of Kerala. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a performance of Kathakali Dance. Overnight at hotel. DAY 08 : Departure Cochin After breakfst, sight-seeing tour in Cochin visiting the historic monuments of Cochin. Visit the Cochin Fort, Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace with well-preserved fresco paintings and the oldest Jewish Synagogue still in use.Transfer to airport in time for your onward journey or way back home.
